Should I look at new or second hand equipment first up? |

The decision to buy new or second hand largely is determined by your budget. New gear is always going to be better than older pre-loved gear and comes with a warranty, not to mention the latest in safety developments and flying characteristics. For the budget conscious, the 2nd hand market is alive and well with gear, but much of it is performance gear less suitable for beginners. Beginner gear is highly sought after and still commands a decent price compared to other second hand equipment. The current range of Hybrid kites are well worth the extra money as they are safer, more user friendly, have better low end and high end power and are easier to relaunch.
