The hooked in Tantrum is a really easy move and feels quite natural. It is basically a one handed 540 powered frontroll to toeside. To do this trick, you should be comfortable riding toeside and also comfortable with powered front rolls. To begin, gain comfortable speed across the wind on your fave tack and with your kite at 10.30 position, throw into a front roll off a wave. It is important not to swing the kite! Place your front hand close to the centre of the bar to prevent oversteering the kite. As you launch off the wave, instead of tucking into a roll, twist your body from the hips into more of a back flip by arching your back. Let go of the bar with your back hand on take off and extend your arms whilst looking over your back shoulder. This will start the rotation. Open your body out by extending your arms and start to spot your landing. Adjust your rotation speed by tucking if necessary and bend your knees for a toeside landing. The move is easy and is different from the front roll by the open body position, flip instead of roll and the one handed landing. The unhooked version is the same, just unhooked and more difficult to land.
