Kiteboarding is the sport of using power kites to propel yourself across the water using a board. The kites can be of Inflated Leading edge design, or be foil like with closing valves to prevent water from entering and stop air escaping when crashed. Kiteboarding should only be attempted with water relaunchable kites fitted with quick release systems on the control bar.
