2009 North Jaime Pro
JAIME PRO Series

- High Performance Board
- All Terrain
- Top Up Wind Performance
- Fast & Smooth
- 3D Carbon Light Woodcore
- Asymetrical Concave
- Medium Flex

The Jaime is back for 2009 as a free-ride/new-school crossover. An evolution of last year‘s Jaime board, the shape has been optimized with narrower tips for a smoother ride. The Jaime remains fast and poppy for powered freestyle but with slightly softer flex characteristics than the Pro Series. The combination of medium flex and our new carbon light-wood construction dampens the chop and gives the Jaime new levels of comfort and gives you the best of both worlds; New school performance and free ride comfort.
Holy Cow! Seven Generations of Pro Models!
Thanks to the asymmetrical concave and the medium flex, the Jaime Pro line has been proven to be the fastest board in our “Pro” line and also the one with better upwind ability. The tip shape gives the board both good pop and easy landings. We’ve fine tuned the outlines to match the new construction and improved the accessories on the board.
The Jaime Pro 2009 will please riders seeking a complete board that will be both fun and challenging, cruising on a long down-winder or pushing their level to the next impossible move…Because comfort and performance can continually be improved at the same pace and we’ll never give up that premise.

- Size: 132cm x 41cm / 2,6Kg

Mallory‘s smooth, effortless style just got kicked up a notch. More power, more pop and more control means Mallory will continue to turn heads every where he goes.

›› The board is specially designed for newschool style, so I’ve always given lot of importance to its pop, it has to pop like hell and allow me to go really high whatever the conditions and the kite position may be. If you go high you need to land clean, and that’s where the board is proving its qualities. My landings on that board are controlled and safe. « Mallory de la Vilemarqué

2009 North Kontact
KONTACT

- High Performance
- Carving & Control at high Speed
- Down the Line surfing
- Custom Epoxy Wood Sandwich
- Dual Density Pads
- Future Fin System

North introduces the Kontact; A surfboard range that will take your kite-surfing to new levels! With the input of pro riders Sky Solbach and Dreu Beavis, Australian shaper Martin Littlewood has put his 30 + years of shaping experience and a full year of R&D into the Kontact range. From pumping Western Australia to PKRA competition in Chile and down to one-foot onshore beach breaks, these boards are designed to be pushed as hard as possible in all conditions. The concept is quite simple; The overall look and feel of a bigger semi-gun, scaled down to around 6‘ for kiting. The result is a board that offers excellent grip and encourages you to go as fast as possible into turns and carves and give you more confidence in pushing the next turn. These boards excel in good conditions where speed and control is key, but still maintain enough direct response and snappiness to push your limits in smaller surf. Strapped or strapless, big or small surf, the Kontact is a no compromise high performance range of competition surfboards that will never hold you back.

2009 North Bullet
BULLET

- All Wave Board
- Tight Turns and snappy Cutbacks
- Massive Grip
- Amazing Lightwind Performance
- Custom Epoxy Wood Sandwich
- Dual Density Pads
- Future Fin System

North introduces another new addition to the 09 surf range from
shaper Martin Littlewood: The Bullet.

The Bullet is a quad fin surf design aimed carving new lines in small to medium surf. Utilizing the short, wide, compactness of a fish in combination with the drive and grip of a quad has made the Bullet a master of generating blazing speed in smallish surf and tight carves. The Bullet is extremely loose and snappy and fits well in the pocket of small to medium waves. Strapped or strapless, the Bullet easily takes tight lines in small surf and is easy to bust the tail free and throw buckets of spray! A squared off nose and batwing tail give the Bullet it‘s striking looks and is available in two sizes; 5‘7“ and 5‘10“ to suit nearly every size rider. The Bullet is the perfect addition to your growing surf addiction!

2009 North Freestyle Fish
FREESTYLE FISH

- Epic Sessions in crappy Waves
- Easy to ride and jibe
- Strapped or unstrapped
- Custom Epoxy Wood Sandwich
- Sky Hooks
- Future Fin System

The Freestyle Fish concept is only a year old, yet it has been one of the most talked board in our range. What started as a concept project last year is now a category of it’s own in 2009. This has only encouraged us to continue pushing and developing the FSF for 2009.
This year we’ve used the knowledge and experience of surf shaper Martin Littlewood to give a more “surfy” twist to this concept without losing the ease of use that made the Freestyle Fish so popular in the past.
We’ve expanded the range to a bigger version to please the bigger riders and light wind freaks.

The result is two boards that will make the most fun of medium and small surf, light wind or even flat water freestyling.

Feel free to have a blast in conditions that you used to overlook; Onshore mush, wind swell… the freestyle fish will challenge you to have the most fun. You will still dream of being in Hawaii everyday, but it will ease the pain!

Both boards can be ridden with or without straps and all the accessories have been improved to achieve maximum comfort and performance.
A perfect complement to your quiver bag!
